Before you begin, ensure you have plenty of space and containers to organize your screws. Many of the interior screws look similar but vary slightly in length. Open the vehicle hood. Remove the windshield wiper arms and the plastic scuttle panel cover (plenum chamber trim) just below the windshield. Inside this chamber, near the wiper motor assembly, you will find two or three 10mm nuts/bolts that go through the firewall into the dashboard structural frame. The dashboard will not move until these are removed.
Remove the ash tray and the storage cubby. Look inside these cavities for the hidden Phillips screws securing the center console frame to the transmission tunnel.
Undo the retaining screws on either side of the instrument cluster. Pull the cluster forward slightly, reach behind to unlock the wiring harness clip, and lift the unit out of the dash. Step 4: Passenger Airbag Module or Glovebox
